Table Control Settings and Sorting Behavior

When you sort a column in a table, SOLIDWORKS PDM removes the file structure hierarchy. Sorting turns off Show Tree Lines and Show Reference Selection Control.

Previously, Open File List or Save File List gave results for the entire list. Now, SOLIDWORKS PDM considers filters you have applied and column sorting and lets you display all files or only the visible files.

Open File List includes options to open the list of files in Microsoft Excel:
  • Open All
  • Open Visible
Similarly, Save File List includes options to export the list of all files or only the visible files:
  • Export All
  • Export Visible
