When you work with user defined route types for rectangular and circular cross sections, and ducting, you can access functionality from the User Defined tab in the CommandManager or from Tools > Routing > User Defined.
You can use the Auto Route tool for creating Rectangular section routing for Cable Trays, Electrical Ducting, HVAC, and others using rectangular routes. Auto Route is available only for orthogonal routes and not flexible routes in rectangular section routing.
You can route single strip flex cables between two connectors as part of electrical routes from Tools > Routing > Electrical > Start at Point and selecting Flex Cable as the subroute type. You can also drag and drop a flex cable component into a route assembly.
Pipe and elbow components are included in Pack and Go without having to use SOLIDWORKS add-ins or SOLIDWORKS Explorer.
You can route wires, cables and harness through Cable Tray and Electrical Duct.
You can create coverings for rectangular cross section route types including HVAC round ducting and electrical ducting.
