Datums on a Radius or Hole

When you add a DimXpert datum to a radius or hole, the "R" no longer appears. This correction also applies to existing datums from documents saved in previous releases that are opened in SOLIDWORKS 2016.

Hole Callouts Placement

DimXpert hole callouts are placed on the top face for blind, counterbore, and countersink holes.

Width Datums

Datums that represent the width between two faces have the following display options:
  • Change the annotation view
  • Change the annotation plane using drag handles
  • Move the dimension lines of linear dimensions to the inside or outside
  • Change a diameter dimension to linear display
