Creating a New Cable Wire Library

You can create a new library by selecting whether it is a cable, wire, or ribbon cable library, and adding values for the attributes associated with the library.

1. Select the type of library you are going to create from the list: Cable Library, Wire Library, or Ribbon Cable Library.
2. Double-click the empty cell under Cable Name (Name for Wire Library).
   A row appears with default values for each attribute.
3. Double-click each cell in the first row, and insert values for the attributes.
4. If you want to add values for the core/wire attributes (Cable Library only):
   1. Select Display core/wire data list.
   2. Under Cable List, select a cable.
   3. Under Core/Wire list, insert values for the attributes. You can have more than one row for each cable.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for additional rows.
6. Click Save and, in the Save As dialog box, browse to a location and type a name for the library.
7. Click Save.
8. Click OK when the Save successful message appears.
   The library location and name appears next to the Save button.
9. Click Finish.
