Toolbox Hole Callouts

You add hole callouts to annotate the Mechanical Toolbox holes in your drawing with dimensions and descriptions.

You can create a hole table by selecting holes with callouts. The table lists the locations and descriptions of the selected holes.

The format and content of hole callouts depends on:

  • Hole category

    Counterbore

    Countersink

    Thru Hole

    Tap

    Slot callouts are not available.
  • Whether the end condition is Blind or Thru in the hole's properties.
  • Settings you specify in the Toolbox - Hole Callouts dialog box.

    You can select to:

    • Display the callout using Symbols and text or just text (Traditional)
    • Preface the callout with the number of holes that exactly match the hole you apply the callout to.
    • Append a description to a traditional callout.
