Use the dimension palette to format dimensions you insert or existing dimensions that you want to modify.
To format dimensions with the dimension palette:

Insert or select a dimension.
- Click the dimension palette icon
to open the dimension palette.
- Use the buttons at the top of the palette to set properties and formatting for the selected dimension.
You can specify:
- Tolerance formats
- Unit and tolerance precision
- Parentheses
- Dimension centering or offset
- Text justification
- Use the text boxes in the middle of the dimension palete to add text to the top and bottom of the dimension and to specify a prefix or suffix on either side of the dimension.
Use the
Text Justification 
control at the top of the palette to align text you add.
- If you applied a tolerance type, use additional fields that appear to the right of the dimension to specify the tolerance.
- To save and reuse formatting, use the Favorites buttons at the bottom of the screen.
- When you have finished modifying a dimension, press Esc twice to close the dimension palette and deselect the dimensions you have modified.
