Drag the
initial view to the viewport.
Click

Move the mouse pointer into the viewport.
A red arrow is attached to the mouse pointer. The status bar at the bottom of the Composer window displays instructions for creating the arrow.
Click to position the starting point of the arrow.
Move the mouse pointer to change the arrow length and direction, and then click to place the arrow end point.
The arrow is added to the viewport, and another arrow is attached to the mouse pointer.
Add a second arrow to the viewport, and then press
Esc to exit the arrow tool.
With the second arrow still selected, change the arrow
Opacity and
Background color in the Properties pane.
Like geometry actors, collaborative actors have properties.
In the viewport, drag the various arrow anchors (yellow triangles and red dots) to change arrow shape and size properties.
Click

Click an actor in the viewport, click again to position the label, and then press
Esc to exit the tool.
By default, the label text is the name of the actor to which it is attached.
With the label still selected, in the Properties pane, under
Text, for
Text, select
String.
For the
Text string property, type
My Label and press
Enter.
The label text changes from the actor name to
My Label.
In the Views pane, click
Update View
to save your changes.
On the right side of the viewport, click the blue up arrow.
An orange box with white-circle corners appears around the arrow indicating it is selected. This is a collaborative actor called a Image 2D panel and is used to add images to your scene.
In the Properties pane, in the
Event group, examine the
Link property.
An event is an action that takes place when you click an actor. The
view://up link activates the Composer view called
up. You clicked the arrow to select it, but nothing happened. This is because an event is only active in Composer Player or when Composer is simulating Player.
In the lower-right corner of the Composer window, click
Design Mode
to clear it.
Composer is now in play mode instead of design mode.
In the viewport, click the blue up arrow.
The slider assembly moves up.
Click each of the other icons:
- The down arrow activates the
down view.
- The stop button (square box) displays the
initial view.
- The panel in the lower-left viewport corner displays the
exploded view.
Click
Design Mode
to turn on design mode.
