Customizing Routing Connector Tables

Routing connector tables are general tables defined by .sldbomtbt templates. You can generate a custom connector table from a valid custom connector table template or modify the connector table generated by the default template. You must retain the default connector table columns in custom connector tables.

To customize a connector table:

  1. Create a connector table from a valid connector table template:
    1. Do one of the following:
      • From the Flattened Route PropertyManager, select Drawing Options, and Connector table.
      • From a flattened routing assembly, click Insert > Tables > Electrical Tables > Connector Table.
    2. If your connector table template is not selected, click Open Table Template PM_Table_Browse_Template.gif to select it, and click .
  2. Modify the table as required.

Connector tables can also display additional details about the pin connections if they are present in the model. For example, terminals, seals, and plugs are available in Column Properties.

You can add new columns in the connector table from a central location. You must retain the Pin, Wire Name, and Color columns in the connector table.
  3. (Option) To save the customized table as a new template, right-click the table, click Save As, and save the table as a .sldbomtbt template.
