Accessing Custom and Configuration Properties To access custom and configuration properties: Click File > Properties. In the dialog box, click the Custom tab for properties that apply to the entire document, or the Configuration Properties tab for properties that vary from one configuration to another. The Configuration Properties tab displays the defined configurations in the first section and lets you add properties in the second section. If you define a property on the Configuration Properties tab, a configuration icon appears in the row.
