Collaborative server

Menu: Tools > Application settings > Collaborative server

 

This tab lets you define settings required for connecting to the collaborative server.

The collaborative server helps you to manage opening, closing and updating of drawings. When you have a client/server installation, multiple users can connect to the collaborative server to share the same electrical projects.

Collaborative server

Enter the IP address and port number of the machine where the collaborative server is installed. Two buttons allow you to test the connection.

User name

Enter the user name. This name is displayed in the electrical project properties and Revision management. You can use your Windows login or enter another name.
