Electrical project configurations

Dockable panel > Contextual menu of electrical project: Configurations |
The electrical project configuration parameters let you personalize
the drawing and make the results and processes work for you.
If you have activated the user
rights option to manage configuration parameters, you will be asked
to enter a password when the dialog box opens.
When a new electrical project is created, the configuration parameters
come from the Project template.
Given a large number of parameters, it is difficult to create an empty
electrical project, where all the configuration parameters need to be
set-up.
Application/Project configurations
Certain parameters are managed only at the Project level (Project or
Wire styles) and others can be managed either at the Project level or
at the application level (such as PLC,
Terminal drawings or user data).
The configurations are displayed in a dialog box divided into 2 parts.
The left part of the dialog box represents the configurations saved at
the application level and the right part of the dialog box represents
those that are stored at the Project level.
For the types of configuration which do not use this dialog box, the
parameters are only valid for the electrical project.
When you modify the configuration parameters at the application level,
they are applied to all the electrical projects which use this configuration.
So, when you modify the configuration parameters stored at the Project
level, they are valid only for that electrical project.
The specific icons (Add to project
and Add to application) let you
pass the electrical project configurations to the application and vice
versa, from the application level to the Project.
