Databases

Menu: Tools > Application settings > Databases

 

Application data folder: Displays the database storage location. When working on a network, all users must have the same storage location.

Folder containing projects: Displays the folder for storing files for the electrical projects.

Connection type: Displays the type of databases used: SQL Server or SQLite.

Server name: Displays the name of the server of the SQL Server database.

User name: Displays the user name to connect to the SQL Server database.

Password: Displays the password to connect to the SQL Server database.

Set auto close property to false for new database: Auto-close is a property of the SQL server database. Check this option if you have several disconnections with the SQL Server.

Databases name: Shows the name and version of the databases used.

 

The Display query execution error log button is used to open the file containing the queries that failed when the software was being used.
