Send by E-mail

The Send by E-mail dialog box lets you e-mail the active document.

To display this dialog box, click File > Publish > E-mail .

Command NameDescription
Attached fileSpecifies the document format to send:
  • Composer package (.exe) - Sends a self-extracting executable that includes the Composer document and Composer Player.
  • Composer document (.smg) - Sends the Composer document only.
Rename to pass through firewalls(Available when Composer package (.exe) is selected.) Uses a .ex_ extension (instead of .exe). Many e-mail applications and firewalls do not accept .exe attachments because they are considered unsafe. The e-mail recipient can rename the file before opening it.
Password protectionPassword-protects the attached file. The e-mail recipient must provide the password to open the file.
LanguageSpecifies the language for the Composer Player user interface and online help, and for the e-mail text. Select Same as application or select from the installed languages.
