Windows

The Windows dialog box lets you manage documents when you have multiple files open. To display this dialog box, click Window > Window > Switch Windows > .

Command NameDescription
Select windowLists the open documents. Select one or more documents to operate on, or double-click a document to activate it.
ActivateMakes the selected document active and closes the Windows dialog box.
OKCloses the dialog box.
SaveSaves the selected documents.
Close WindowsCloses the selected documents. A prompt appears when there are unsaved changes.
CascadeArranges the selected documents in overlapping windows.
Tile Horizontally Arranges the selected document windows one above the other.
Tile Vertically Arranges the selected document windows side-by-side.
MinimizeMinimizes the selected document windows.
