Scale Geometry

The Scale Geometry dialog box lets you resize the selected geometry actors in the world coordinate system.

To display this dialog box, select one or more geometry actors, and then click Geometry > Geometry > Scale .

Command NameDescription
UniformMaintains the aspect ratio. Specify X, and Y and Z values are set automatically.
X Specifies the scaling factor in the X direction. For example, 0.5 reduces the size in half, and 1.25 increases the size by 25 percent.
Y(Available when Uniform is cleared.) Specifies the scaling factor in the Y direction.
Z(Available when Uniform is cleared.) Specifies the scaling factor in the Z direction.

Note: You can also scale using Geometry properties in the Properties pane. This scaling is performed according to the local coordinate system and can be animated.
