The BOM types available depend on the type of file you select in the file list.

From the file
view of the Windows File Explorer,
select
a drawing, assembly, or weldment
part.

On the Bill of Materials tab, in the View section, expand the BOM
list, and select a BOM type.
Your choices can include computed BOMS, named BOMs, SOLIDWORKS BOMs, weldment BOMs, and weldment cut lists.
