Include Document Snapshots

You can include captures, views, drawing sheets, and snapshots of files in a Microsoft Excel inspection report. You can manually create additional snapshots of CAD documents.

Captures Includes model based definition screen captures in the PDF. Not available for 2D drawings.

In the table, you can select individual screen captures to publish.

Views Includes views in the PDF. For 3D models, you can select one of the existing model views to include. Not available for 2D drawings.

In the table, you can select individual views to publish.

  Sheets Includes drawing sheets.
Take user defined snapshot Takes a screen capture of the current model or drawing and adds it to the table. Whatever appears in the graphics area at the time of capture is shown. When you take the snapshot, the Microsoft Excel sheet name matches the 'user specified name of the capture, file name'.

For PDF files, you can only include a snapshot of the entire sheet.

For DWG files, you can create a user defined capture.

Imaging

You can export the image captures associated with each extracted requirement in an inspection project to inspection reports. When you include image captures in reports (see Map Tokens to Reports), you can modify the way the images display.

Adjust image captures in exported excel Lets you specify exported image sizes.
Fit image to cell Keeps exported image captures within the cell size of the report template.

Specify the Contrast, which changes the exported image contrast in inspection reports. This makes the exported images lighter (1) or darker (4).

Fit cell to image Forces the exported image captures to fit the cell Height or Width in the report template.

Select Apply Zoom % and specify a value to resize exported image captures in inspection reports. For example, to reduce the size of images in reports, enter a lower number such as 80% instead of 125%.

Measurements

The Measurements section is available if you select Measurements Input and CMM Data Import in General options.

You can enter inspection results directly in an inspection project and export them to create a full inspection report.

You can select the results to export if you do not need all of them in the final report.

All Exports all of the results to the report.
Results Exports a combination of specified results.

For example, 1-5,8,10 exports the results numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 10 to the report.

Last Exports the last x results to the report.
