Creating Packages from Drawing Sheet Sets

From the Sheet Set Manager palette, you can create a package from an entire drawing sheet set or subset, or from a single drawing sheet.

The Pack and Go dialog box lets you specify the files to include in the package. To access this dialog box, right-click Sheet Set Manager and click Pack and Go.

To create packages from drawing sheet sets:

  1. In the Sheet Set Manager, open the drawing sheet set that you want to send.
  2. On the Drawing Sheet List tab, do one of the following:
    • Right-click a drawing sheet set to pack an entire drawing sheet set.
    • Right-click a drawing sheet subset to pack a drawing sheet subset.
    • Right-click a drawing sheet to pack the specified drawing sheet or drawing sheet selection.
  3. Click Pack and Go.
  4. In the Pack and Go dialog box, specify the files to include in the package:
    • On the Drawing Sheet tab, select the drawing sheet name.
    • On the Tree tab and the Table tab, add or remove drawing files, dependent files, and any other files.
  5. Click Settings to specify preferences for the packaging.
  6. In the Pack and Go Settings dialog box, specify options

  7. Click View Report to view a summary of the package contents.
    The Report dialog box shows detailed information about the package contents and provides distribution recommendations. You can save the report to a text file.
  8. Optional: In Package notes to include, type notes to include in the package (for example, project status information).
  9. Click OK.
  10. Type the file name for the .zip file and click Save.
