Use the Bills of Materials page to
set the user's access to BOMs defined for the vault.
You can also assign permissions to users and groups by when you create or
edit a bill of materials.
To access this page:
- Display the user's Properties
dialog box.
- In the left pane, click Bills of
Materials.

BOMs user can activate. A
computed BOM must be activated to be displayed in the BOM view in SOLIDWORKS PDM File Explorer.
This option is not available for item BOMs.

A
icon is displayed
for the permissions that are assigned based on the user's membership in a group. Hover over
the icon to view the groups from which the permission is granted to the user.
