In this exercise, you learn how to manage the reports and data
extractions.

Editing Reports
In the
Drawings
list, delete the
Function column and add the
File name column. In the list of the
cables, remove the
Description and
Length columns.
- In the Report
Manager, select the Drawings
list report and click Properties
.
- In Columns,
right-click the column header.
- In the Column
configuration dialog box, clear Function and select File
Name.
- Edit the cable report.
Using Filter
In the
bill of materials report, create a filter to display only the Schneider Electric references.
- In the Report
manager, select the Bill of
materials report and click Add
filter
.
- In the Filter dialog
box, in Properties, enter a
description for the filter (for example, Schneider Electric).
- On the Conditions
tab, under Available fields,
double-click bom_manufacturer
(Manufacturer).
- For Value, select
Schneider Electric.
When the filter is active, the report displays the
Schneider Electric references only. Select <No filter> to show all references.
Generating Report Drawings
Generate the report drawings and place them in the Reports folder.
The reports
should be in this order:
- Drawing list
- Bill of materials
- List of cables
- Cabling report
The set of pages must comply with the list of drawings
in Appendix 9A.
Before generating the drawing
report, first adjust the order in which they will be created and displayed in the
electrical project.
- In the Report
manager, click Schedule
.
- In the Report generation
order dialog box, click Up and Down to
change the order.
- In the Report
manager, click Generate
drawings
.
- In the Report drawing
destination dialog box, click [?] and create a Reports folder.
- Redirect the drawings to this folder and click OK to create the drawings.
- Launch the Drawing
list report again to integrate the report drawings.
Exporting Report to Microsoft Excel
Export the bill of material data to a Microsoft
® Excel file and add it to the electrical project as a
data file.
- In the Report
manager, click Excel
export
.
- In the Excel export
wizard, select the required report and click Next.
- Select Add created file to
project.
