Mechanical Settings Dialog Box: Snaps You can use the Snaps category of the Settings dialog box to manage and control Mechanical Snap Configurations. Mechanical Snap Configurations include frequently used custom settings for EntitySnaps (ESnaps), EntityTracking (ETracks), Snap Grid, and Polar Guides. To access Mechanical Snap Configurations: Do one of the following: Click Mechanical Content > Manage > Settings, then click Snaps. Enter AM_MechanicalSnap in the Command window. Define Mechanical Snap Configurations: In Mechanical Snap Configuration, select the current settings or one of four global settings (from Settings1 to Settings4). On the dialog box tabs, adjust settings for ESnaps, ETracks, Snaps, and Polar Guides. Click Apply. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for other Mechanical Snap Configurations. Click OK. Restore Mechanical Snap Configurations. Use the AM_EntitySnap1, AM_EntitySnap2, AM_EntitySnap3, and AM_EntitySnap4 commands to restore associated configurations for subsequent drafting for their respective Settings1, Settings2, and so on.
