Update Revisions

With the Update Revisions command, you can select a required type of revision for a single node or multiple nodes of the assembly.

From the Lifecycle tab of the action bar in MySession, click Update Revisions .
This command is available only for physical products or the structures, which contain physical products saved to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
In the Update Revisions dialog box, the same expand structure is visible as seen in MySession.
Column Name Description
Title The name of the family (without the file extension).
Revision The current revision of the object.
Maturity The current maturity state of the object.
Owner The name of the object owner.
Action Choose any of the following actions to apply a revision:
  • Replace by Latest Revision: Updates with the latest revision.
  • Replace by Latest Stable Revision: Updates with the last frozen or released lifecycle state.
  • Replace by Latest Released Revision: Updates with the latest released revision.
Expected Revision The updated revision number.
Expected Maturity The updated maturity state of the object.
   
Replace all by: To update the revision of all selected objects, select an option in the Replace all by: list
  • Replace by Latest Revision: Updates with the latest revision.
  • Replace by Latest Stable Revision: Updates with the last frozen or released lifecycle state.
  • Replace by Latest Released Revision: Updates with the latest released revision.
Expand To expand or collapse the structure, select a node and click one of these commands.
  • Expand All: Expands all nodes.
  • Expand n Level: Lets you enter the number of levels to expand.
  • Collapse All: Collapses all nodes.
Multiselect To multiselect objects to be replaced, you can either press Ctrl from the keyboard and select nodes, or click one of these commands.
  • Select All Visible: Selects all the expanded objects.
  • Select Children: Selects the children of the selected object.
  • Select Leaves: Selects the final node of the selected branch.
Resets the selection

The revision progress appears in the progress bar.
