You can replace one revision in a session with another revision that
exists in the 3DEXPERIENCE
platform.

Select an object in
MySession.

To get a list of revisions for the object that you have
selected, do one of the following:
- From the Lifecycle tab of the action bar, click Replace by Revision.
- Right-click the object and select Replace by Revision.
The Replace by
Revision dialog box displays the columns of the Revision History dialog box. This dialog box
provides
a
graph view with branches, an ability to refresh information, and an option
to customize the visibility of the columns. The Replace by Revision dialog box lists the revisions that you
can select to replace the revision open in session.
The
dialog
box
displays all
the
existing revisions for a selected
object.
You can replace the current revision with any branch
revision opened
in
the
session. In the revision list,
the
current revision is displayed blurred.
The
following
table explains the default columns that are displayed in the Replace by Revision dialog box:

From the list, select only one
revision.
- When a selected revision does not have other
revisions, only the current revision is displayed.
- In a
structure,
if a child
has
a
reference
to
an
external reference and is replaced by another revision, the revision
of its parent is not
replaced
and no warning message is displayed.
- OK
is disabled when there is only one revision for the selected
data.
- Appropriate error
messages
display
for data that is not saved in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or for multiselection of objects.

Click OK.
The
new
revision replaces the previous revision of the selected object.
