A square plate, clamped at its four edges, is subjected to a large normal pressure. The side of the plate is 2.0 meters and its thickness is 0.01 meter. It is required to calculate the deflection and stress profiles. An x-y graph depicting the deflection of the center of the plate as the load increases is required.

Due to the small thickness of the plate compared to its side (1/200), a study with Shell mesh type is used. Taking advantage of the symmetry, only a quarter of the plate is modeled.
