Plotting Displacements

The displacement in the global Z direction represents the axial displacement (UZ). Displacements are measured from the position where the bar hits the rigid surface before any deformation occurs.

To view UZ Displacements:

In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Results folder and select Define Displacement Plot .
In the PropertyManager, under Display:
1. Select UZ : Z Displacement in Component .
2. Select cm in Units .
Under Plot Step, set to 30.
Under Deformed shape, select User defined and type 1 for Scale Factor .
Click .
Repeat the above procedure and generate another UZ : Z Displacement plot with the Plot Step as 1.
