Applying Symmetry Fixtures

Apply symmetry fixtures to the faces of symmetry of the assembly as follows:

In the Simulation study tree, right-click Fixtures in the ThermalStress study and select Fixed Geometry.
The Fixture PropertyManager appears.
On the Type tab under Advanced, click Symmetry.
In the graphics area, select the two faces of symmetry of the model as shown for Planar Faces for Fixture .
Click .

Search 'Applying Symmetry Fixtures' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
