Creating an Optimization Design Study

Next, you create an Optimization Design Study.

Right-click the ReadyFrequency study tab and select Create New Design Study.
You can also use the other study tabs to create a new Design Study.
Right-click the Design Study tab and select Rename.
Rename the study as MinVolume.
On the MinVolume tab, click Design Study Options .
In the PropertyManager, under Design Study Quality, select High quality (slower).
The program finds the optimal solution using many iterations with a Box-Behnken design and displays the initial scenario, optimal scenario, and all iterations. For more information about the quality of the study, see SOLIDWORKS Simulation Help: Properties for the Optimization Design Study.
