Local Trend Graph

You can plot local trend graphs to view the variation of a constraint or a goal with the design variable.

In the left frame of the Design Study tab, right-click the Results and Graphs folder and click Define Local Trend Graph.
You cannot plot a design history graph for an Optimization Design Study with continuous variables. For more information about the graphs available for different settings in a Design Study, see SOLIDWORKS Simulation Help: Design Study Outcomes.
In the PropertyManager, under Design variables (X-Axis), select DV2.
In the PropertyManager, under Y-Axis, select Constraint, and for Constraint, select the stress tensor.
Under Local trend at, select Optimal.
Click .
The program plots the variation of the maximum von Mises stress with respect to the design variable DV2. The trend is graphed with the other two design variables are set to the optimal values, as shown in the Optimal column. The units are MPa and mm for the Y-axis and X-axis respectively.
Close the graph.
