Meshing the Part and Running the Study In the Simulation study tree, right-click Mesh and select Create Mesh , or click the down arrow on Run This Study (Simulation CommandManager) and select Create Mesh . In the PropertyManager, select Standard mesh under Mesh Parameters. Click to accept the values. When meshing is complete, the meshed model appears in the graphics area. Rotate the model to verify that all the top faces (gray) are on the same side of the model. The bottom faces (orange) are on the opposite side of the model. To flip the bottom and top face of a shell mesh, select a face, right-click Mesh, and select Flip Shell Elements. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Shell Study and select Run .
