Setting Damping Properties

You set a modal damping ratio of 2% for all modes.

  1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Damping and select Edit/Define.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Options, select Modal damping.
  3. Under Damping Ratios, type 0.02 in the Damping Ratios cell.
  4. Click PM_OK.gif.
