Examining the Dimension View and Modifying a Dimension

Next, you examine how the dimensions are related.

In the Equations, Global Variables, and Dimensions dialog box, click Dimension View .
The dimension equations and global variable definitions are displayed.
Click Equation View , and change the value of the global variable Pin Shaft Diameter from 0.47in to 0.87in.
Click Dimension View to see that the model dimensions automatically adjust according to the equations.

The pin shaft diameter dimension is increased to .87in, and the rest of the model dimensions are increased according to the equations.
To close the Equations, Global Variables, and Dimensions dialog box, click OK.
