Recognizing Holes

In this topic, you automatically recognize hole features.

1. Under Recognition Mode, select Automatic.
2. Under Feature Type, select Standard features.
3. Under Automatic Features, select Holes and clear the other check boxes.
4. Click .
   FeatureWorks recognizes new hole features automatically and lists them under Recognized Features.

   The advantage to this method is the speed at which features are recognized because you do not select faces or features. If the FeatureWorks software can automatically recognize most or all of the features in your model, then use Automatic Feature Recognition. In this tutorial, most features are recognized interactively to allow you to control which entities are recognized as which features.
5. Click and click OK.
