Locking and Unlocking Construction Line Layers

Use the AM_CLineL command to lock or unlock construction line layers.

The default layer for construction lines is AM_CL. All commands for creating construction lines automatically place construction lines on the dedicated default layer.

You may also use the InfiniteLine and Ray commands to place construction lines in the graphics area. Make sure that these infinite lines are placed on a standard construction line layer so that the AM_CLineL command can be applied to them.

Turn off or freeze the construction line layer before printing the drawing.

To lock or unlock construction line layers:

  • Type AM_CLineL at the command prompt.
