You
can create a SpeedPak instance by adding an assembly to the model.
To open the Insert SpeedPak
Instance PropertyManager, click .
Select an
assembly
and specify options in the Insert SpeedPak
Instance PropertyManager. Click Next
to open the
SpeedPak PropertyManager and specify
SpeedPak options.
Assembly to Insert
Open
Documents |
Lists previously saved documents
that are open. From the list, select an assembly, or click
Browse to open an
existing document. |
Configuration |
Lists the configurations
available in the selected assembly. From the list, select a
configuration. Available when you select a
document in Open
Documents.

Thumbnail Preview
Displays previews of the selected components under Assembly to Insert.

Graphics preview |
Displays a preview of the selected
component in the graphics area under your pointer. |
Show
Rotate context toolbar |
Displays the Rotate context
toolbar when you insert a component. You can use the context toolbar
to rotate the component around the X, Y, or Z axis. |
Fix /
float component on insert |
Specifies the position of a
SpeedPak instance as fixed or floating.
Only fix
first component

Sets the position as fixed for the
first SpeedPak instance. Other components have a
floating position.
