'SNAP

Restricts cursor movement to specified intervals.

Specify:

1 ON/OFF

2 Snap spacing

3 Aspect (allows Horizontal and Vertical intervals to be different)

4 Rotate (asks for Base Point and Rotation Angle)

The rotation angle can be between -90 and 90 degrees. A positive angle rotates the grid counterclockwise about the base point; a negative angle rotates the grid clockwise.

Changing the snap spacing affects the coordinates only of new points; objects already in the drawing retain their existing coordinates.

Snap spacing is invisible. 'GRID displays a dot grid.

You can toggle SNAP to be ON or OFF by pressing the F9 function key, or by double-clicking SNAP on the status bar.
