Connector - Rigid

A Rigid connector rigidly connects faces from one solid body to faces from another solid body. The faces can only deform rigidly as a group. The distance between any two locations on the faces remains constant.

Type

  • Faces for Rigid Connection . Faces from a solid body.

  • Target . Faces from another solid body.

Symbol Settings

  • Edit color. Select a color for the symbols.

  • Symbol Size . Set the size of the symbols.

  • Show preview. Toggles the display of the connector symbols in the graphics area.

Notes

Available for static, nonlinear, buckling, frequency, and dynamic studies.
