Plotting Contact Pressure

After running a static study, you can plot forces that develop in contact areas defined by Node-to-Node or Surface contact types.

To plot contact pressure:

  1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click the Results folder and select Define Stress Plot.

The Stress Plot PropertyManager appears.

  1. In the Display box, set Component to CP: Contact Pressure.

  2. Select the desired Units .

  3. Click OK .
