Varying a Fin's Direction

You can position two fins in varying directions, such as on opposite sides of a corner.

If there are more than two fins, specify a direction for the first fin. The software equally spaces the remaining fins from the direction of the first fin.

To align the fins along the adjoining sides of a corner:

  1. Select a face or edge adjoining the corner for the first fin.

    fin1

The face is listed in Select a direction vector.

  2. Set Number of Fins to 2.
  3. Clear Equally Spaced.

Another option for Select a direction vector appears.

  4. Select a face or edge on the opposite side of the corner to position the second fin.

    fin2

  5. Click PM_OK.gif.
