Solid Mesh Manual (Section Clipping) PropertyManager

Create a cross-section of the solid mesh to better vizualize internal elements.

To open the Solid Mesh - Manual (Section Clipping) PropertyManager:
  1. Create a solid mesh with the Manual method.
  2. The Solid Mesh - Manual (Section Clipping) PropertyManager appears in the mesh creating process after you create a solid mesh.

Select Domains

Lists all meshed parts in the model with their assigned domain group.
Show Shows the meshed part in the graphics area.
Hide Hides the meshed part in the graphics area.

Section Clipping Settings

Creates a cross-section of the meshed parts to visualize internal (hidden) elements. Move the slider along the three axes
+ X Controls the cross-section boundary along the +X axis.
- X Controls the cross-section boundary along the -X axis.
+ Y Controls the cross-section boundary along the +Y axis.
- Y Controls the cross-section boundary along the -Y axis.
+ Z Controls the cross-section boundary along the +Z axis.
- Z Controls the cross-section boundary along the -Z axis.
Reset Resets the cross-section display to the default settings.
