Adding the Policy Manually To add the policy manually: Start the Administration tool by doing one of the following: On Windows 7, from the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > SOLIDWORKS PDM > Administration. On Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 or later, from the Windows Start menu, select SOLIDWORKS PDM > Administration. Under Local settings, right-click Group Policies, then click Open. In the Group Policy dialog box, under User Configuration, right-click Administrative Templates, then select Add/Remove Templates. In the Add/Remove Templates dialog box, click Add. In the Policy Templates dialog box, navigate to \SWPDMClient\Support\Policies\PDMWorks Enterprise.ADM on the SOLIDWORKS DVD and click Open.The SOLIDWORKS PDM Settings policy options appear under Administrative Templates > Classic Administrative Templates (ADM).
