You can link workflows by defining a transition with a source state in one workflow and a destination state in a different workflow. For example, the same document may need to be approved by different organizations using different workflows.
- Open the source workflow.

Right-click where you want to place a state from another workflow and select New Workflow Link, or click New Workflow Link
(Workflow toolbar).
You can move the link later by dragging the box.
- From the Workflow Link dialog box, select the target workflow and state.
The target state does not have to be the initial state of the target workflow.
- Create a transition and select the workflow link as the destination state. Ensure that you also assign appropriate transition rights.
Workflow links cannot be transition source states.
