Do not increment version of PDM
files |
Prevents the creation of a new version each time an
output updates SOLIDWORKS PDM variables or changes the
status in SOLIDWORKS Manage.It is
similar to the SOLIDWORKS PDM transition option to
Overwrite Latest
Version.
- This setting applies to the
SOLIDWORKS Manage output only.
- Use Overwrite Latest Version to prevent
SOLIDWORKS PDM from creating a new version if:
- SOLIDWORKS Manage changes the
state of the SOLIDWORKS PDM workflow.
- The SOLIDWORKS PDM transition
updates a variable.
- If you include a large number
of affected items in the process, it takes a
longer time to complete.

Permissions: Use permissions from
the following user |
Allows a user logged in to the PDM vault to use
permissions granted to the user whose credentials are
available in the User Name and
Password fields. If you use permissions granted to
another user:
- You have these permissions
only until you change the state.
- You do not require transition
permission in the SOLIDWORKS PDM workflow.
- Your name appears in the
history and in the data card variables.
