When you send multiple items through a process, you can split the
selected items into a connected subprocess.
You can create a subprocess only if you enable it in the process object.
The subprocess retains the history of the parent process. You can view all the
subprocesses that are part of a parent process. You can keep some items in the parent
process and send others to the subprocess.

a subprocess:

Select items in a process.
-
Right-click and click Create
sub-process.
A
new process is created that includes the affected
items.
