Video: What's New in SOLIDWORKS 2020 - CAM PROBING

You can use a Probe tool to speed up the setup and manufacturing process.

The defined routines area includes:

Single Point
Pocket
Boss
3 Point Boss
3 Point Hole

The Probe tool is only available in SOLIDWORKS CAM Professional.

Previously, the probing cycles were controlled through a custom post processor using drilling cycles in SOLIDWORKS^® CAM.
