Applying Secure 3D Brush

You can use Secure 3D Brush to protect your intellectual property (IP) by degrading information at the geometrical level while preserving total model coherence.

Notes:

  • Secure 3D Brush affects only selected actors. When no actors are selected, it affects the entire model.
  • Measurement collaborative actors added to secured models do not have accurate values, and some measurements are not possible.
  • Secure 3D Brush moves tessellation vertices to reduce accuracy. To remove tessellation vertices without affecting model accuracy, use Decimation Tab.
  • You can degrade the geometry of the entire model when you save it by selecting the Reduce accuracy option.
  • The Composer degradation approach prevents unauthorized reverse engineering because it is not based on a technology that traps the list of graphic primitives as they are sent to the graphic card (which is the case for Acrobat3D ®, for example).
