Polyline

Menu: Draw > Polyline

 

Draws a succession of line segments or arcs to define a polyline. The entire set of lines or arcs form one single entity. A polyline can have a specified thickness. The second point of the first entity corresponds to the first point of the second entity.

 

At the launch of the command, the dockable panel displays the available options.

 

Ends the command.

Undoes the last action.

 

Keyboard inputs: Allows you to enter X and Y coordinates separated by a comma (Example: 150,125), a distance and an angle separate by "<" (Example: 150<45), or relative coordinates from the previous point (Example: @10,150).

Line: Allows you to draw a line segment based on the last point of the last entity drawn.

Arc: Allows you to draw an arc based on the last point of the last entity drawn. Select the arc placement Options at the bottom of the panel.

Width: Allows you to set a specific thickness for the next entity. This thickness will be used on all of the next entities.

Close: The last point of the last entity corresponds to the first point of the first entity and creates a closed area.

 

This entity type should not be used to generate an electrical scheme. The graphical entities placed with this command are not managed in the electrical project database.
