Allocating locations / functions

Symbol properties: Edit Symbol > Location (function)

Terminal strip properties: Mark and data > Location (function)

Cable properties: Upstream location (downstream location)

PLC properties:  Mark and data > Location (function)

The location (function) of a component is automatically defined based on how it is created/inserted. For example, when a symbol is inserted into a scheme, it automatically uses the location and function of the drawing or location (function) outline it is inserted into. If there is no location (function) for the component to adopt, it will use the default location/function of the electrical project.

1.     Click on the line for the desired location or function.

2.     In the Location (Function) selector that opens, select the required location (function).

3.     Click on the Select button to apply the new location (function).
