Wire (Contextual menu)

Wire style ►

Properties: Opens the wire style properties dialog box. Any changes made will affect all wires in the electrical project.

Propagate: Used to propagate the wire style of the selected segments to the connected segments. The dockable panel displays the propagation options. The To equipotential option is used to propagate to wires with the same equipotential number. The Through circuits option propagates the wire style through the symbols, only if the wire style is the same upstream and downstream of the symbol.

Replace: Used to replace the wires used in the electrical project, depending on a wire style, with another wire style. The dockable panel displays the wire selection options.

Cable properties: Shown only if you select a wire/cable. Opens the electrical project cable properties dialog box to edit the cable properties.

Wire properties: Opens the wire properties dialog box to manage its marking and the technical data associated with the wire.

Equipotential properties: Opens the Properties dialog box for the wires common to this equipotential. Allows you to manage the equipotential number and the technical data associated with this equipotential.

Edit wire mark: Used to edit the number (wire or equipotential) assigned to the wire.

Align texts: Used to align the wire mark texts. Select the texts to align and draw an axis perpendicular to the wires. The texts will be aligned to this axis.

Show / hide equipotential labels: Displays or hides the equipotential label symbol associated with the wire. This text is only visible in the OnBoard version.

Show / hide wire marks: Used to display or hide the wire or equipotential numbers assigned to the wire. This command can also be used on a multi-selection.

Show / hide wire labels: Displays or hides the wire label symbol associated with the wire. This text is only visible in the OnBoard version.

Associate cable cores: Used to create the cabling of the wire.

Dissociate cable core: Dissociates the cable core associated to the selected wire.

Wire Cabling order: Used to manage the cabling order for the wire.

Create / delete bridges: Allows you to create a bridge between two or more components (or terminals). When you run this command, select the wires representing a bridge and validate. The wires will automatically take up the graphic characteristics defined in the electrical project configuration. This command also lets you delete a bridge. Select the wires in the graphic interface, shown as bridges, and use the Delete bridges option.

Edit connection path: Allows you to define manually the nodal indicators representation based on the wiring order.

Show / hide cable cores texts: Used to display or hide the texts relating to the cable core when the wire is cabled.

Add / remove from harness: Allows 3D harness wires to be added or removed. In the dockable panel, select Add or remove option and confirm the choice. In Harness management, select the harness mark.
