Adding Circuits to a Component

With the Add Circuits feature you can add new circuits to a component.

Circuit Types

The following circuit types are available:
  • Detailed cabling: Add virtual circuit(s)
  • Edit symbol graphics: Multiple connection points
  • Properties of a manufacturer part: Add Multiple
  • Component properties > Circuits: Add virtual circuits

Commands / Actions

The operations available on this dialog box are:

Command Name Description
Add Adds a new circuit to the list. The circuit is initialized by default values. You can directly change them on the list.
Delete Deletes the selected circuits.
Initialize from manufacturer part Opens the manufacturer parts selector. The circuits of the selected manufacturer part are automatically added in the circuit list.

Editing Circuit Types

When the circuit types are added, you can modify their type and quantity.

Option Name Description
Number Indicates the order number of the circuit.
Circuit Type Select in the list, the circuit type corresponding to the component, the symbol, or the manufacturer part.
Number of circuits Enter the number of circuits that you want to add.
Number of terminals per circuit Enter the number of terminals in the circuit.
Information transmission Select the transmission mode of the circuit.
