BOM Dialog Box

To open the dialog box, enter AM_BOM in the command window.

Dialog Box Toolbar

	Option	Description
	Activate	Sets the selected BOM as the active BOM and displays its associated parts within the BOM contents list.
	Export BOM	Exports BOM data to a .csv file or .txt file.
	Import BOM	Imports BOM data from a .csv file or .txt file.
	Delete BOM	Deletes the selected BOM in the BOMs list.
-	View	Switches between the Expanded and Structured view.
	Expand/Collapse Assemblies	Expands or collapses all assemblies in the BOM.
	Zoom to	Zooms to the parts of the selected rows of the BOM.
	Highlight	Highlights the geometry of the selected rows of the BOM.

	Option	Description
	Insert Column Left	Inserts a column to the left of the selected column. Opens the Select Columns dialog box to add columns that are not included in the BOM contents list.
	Insert Column Right	Inserts a column to the right of the selected column. Opens the Select Columns dialog box to add columns that are not included in the BOM contents list.
	Remove Column	Removes the selected column from the BOM contents list.
	Add Item	Adds a part to the BOM contents list.
	Insert Item	Adds an empty row below the last row in the BOM contents list.
	Insert Item Above	Adds an empty row above the selected row in the BOM contents list.
	Insert Item Below	Adds an empty row below the selected row in the BOM contents list.
	Delete Item	Removes the selected row and nested items.
	Merge Row	Merges multiple selected rows into one row.
	Split Row	Splits a merged row.
	Sort	Displays the Sort dialog box, to specify options to sort the BOM contents list.
	Create a part reference with data from the selected row	The dialog box closes and you can specify the part reference in the graphics area. This option is available only when you select a row that represents a user-defined part that has no equivalent by geometries in the graphics area.
	Remove overrides	Removes overrides from the current selection and restores the default values.
	Create parts list based on the current BOM	Creates a parts list based on the active BOM in the graphics area.
	Create balloons based on the current BOM	Creates balloons based on the active BOM in the graphics area.

List of BOMs

Displays the BOMs that exist in the current drawing. Right-click on the list to activate, rename, or delete the selected BOM.
